Healthy rivers, living lakes.

Thank you for being a part of Canada Water Week!

This year’s Canada Water Week campaign was a great success, with over a hundred and fifty events nation-wide! We want to thank all of our hard-working event organizers, our eager supporters and everyone who participated in spreading the word about the importance of water in your community.

This year’s theme was “Discover Your Water Footprint,” and what the CWW team discovered through this campaign is that there are many, many Canadians who care passionately about the quality and quantity of our water resources, now and for the future. Reducing your water footprint doesn’t mean giving up your car, your clothes, and the odd glass of wine or hamburger; it means making informed choices about the food you eat and the products you buy. We can all do our part to lessen our water footprint all year ‘round, not just during Canada Water Week.

Let’s keep the conversation flowing on water! Watch this space for updates and information throughout the year leading up to our 2013 campaign. You can also check out our blog (www.ourlivingwater.ca) and stay tuned to our Twitter feed (@CanadaWaterWeek) and Facebook page.
